A daughter’s wedding is one the most joyful and happiest moment for the parents. I wanted my wedding photography and cinematography more of a family centric rather than focusing just on the bride and groom. I briefly spoke to Nilakhya and Akhil of what I want and the they delivered beyond my expectations. The cinematography was a masterpiece for me because that’s one of the last and special memories of my father that I have and I feel his presence whenever I see it........it’s very very special to me and exactly how I wanted it to be. Whenever I see the pictures and videos I feel I am with him and it shows that Nilakhya and Akhil as a team are wonderful, warm and focused people in their approach. The versatility in their work was very much appreciated of how they created a wedding video into something so special.

Today's race of choosing wedding photographers has become as difficult as finding your favorite grain in a haystack with such infusion of talents. Such was the exact situation of me and my wife before our wedding, which made me take recommendations from people on Facebook and fortunately Nilakkhya's name came as the first response. I say fortunately because I had a feeling that time, that I wasn't sure of others as I didn't pursue the rest. But now I can boldly say that it was a great decision. His work as I often is led by emotions more than by professional protocols. Yes everyone in this field works for a living, but he works for the pure love towards capturing those moments of a wedding which depict the culture and expressions to the best of one's ability. You'd realize this after a few years of your marriage when you go through the albums again.
However, I think marriage is the time when God grants all things good. Thankfully I got introduced to a gem of a person who appears to be equally passionate about videography, Akhil. He is tireless to the extent of giving you an anxiety attack of how to get that perfect shot. No wonder now i realize when actors say the same about their directors. Akhil, has been dedicatedly shooting and making the best use of direction, cinematography and his sense of angles to create snippets that I could only dream of.
To sum it all, my family is insured of the trauma of choosing people for creative collaboration. It's a family floater insurance from Nilakkhya and Akhil.

I have known Nilakkhya from the time he wasn't a photographer and when he left his job to become one- made everyone realise how much he loved it.
Cut to couple of years later- I had no doubt in my mind that I will ask Nilakkhya to cover my wedding. He , along with his team are the easiest people to be around. They were on time and the shots were beautiful. Not only they do a great job, they adjusted a very very last minute request for me, as I had forgotten to tell him before hand that I wanted one more small ceremony to be covered.

A grand Indian wedding is every girls dream and so was my dream 6 yrs back in 2013. The day I saw Nilakkhya's pictures, was the day I decided that wherever it’s gonna happen it would would be him who will capture the most beautiful moments of my life.
Honestly it was a big decision as candid images were not common at that time in 2013 and I was just impressed by my friends daughters pictures clicked by him. The way the pictures were clicked were just out of the world, It had all the emotions and passion attached to each click.
We were confident to take the most elaborate package of all the 6 ceremonies from Nilakkhya.
It’s just a complete package of a friend clicking pictures adding emotions and thoughts, Each and every image spoke for itself. Nilakkhya is the best in class and he has the talent to capture the emotions and save it intact in a picture.

We picked Nilakkhya based on our friend's recommendation and weren't disappointed. Nilakhya and his team were a blessing to work with during our wedding. They were always there ahead of time at all events as agreed and took great pictures without being intrusive. All the deliverable were on time and the entire team was fun and friendly to be around. We were very happy with the end results and would recommend Nilakkhya without hesitation for any event.
Even he went out of his comfort zone and provided us few pics for our reception which was in Chennai just after the wedding .
What we missed out on was outdoor/pre-wedding photos which he seems to be the best at, Maybe sometime in the future soon we can get that done too :)
